2014 and back in my home town
Western Cape | 08 January
2014 started with a BANG for me! I was happy to be back in my home town of Cape Town, ready to share the Jonsson Journey with the rest of the Western Cape.
The Jonsson Journey kicked off with me visiting a few wine estates and fruit farms in Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Worcester. It was great to be back and I was welcomed warmly by the various staff members at the different locations, insisting I try the fresh produce they were picking and packing.
Due to the fact that we are now in the peak of summer in the southern hemisphere, the weather was hitting highs of around 29 degrees in the Worcester and Paarl area. After finishing up my shoots I took the Landy for a drive through a few mountain passes, allowing me a chance to capture some of Cape Town’s finest landscapes.
The response to The Jonsson Journey and more particularly the Landy, in the Western Cape, has been phenomenal. Numerous farmers I met along the way told me that they had already seen the Jonsson Landy and was waiting for me to pop in to their respective farms.
This week I leave the luxury of my home in Cape Town and head up the west coast to share the Jonsson Journey and find somemore amazing people working with purpose wearing Jonsson Workwear in this beautiful country of ours.
