Terms and Conditions

  1. All persons entering the Jonsson Journey What’s Your Story Competition (Jonsson Workwear Pty Ltd) agree that the competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding on them. By entering the competition the entrant agrees to be bound by these rules.
  2. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the entrant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“the CPA”).
  3. The entrant acknowledges that by submitting his/her entry to the competition he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these terms and conditions before entering and that he/she understands and agrees to the terms and conditions.
  4. All entrants to this promotional competition participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Jonsson Workwear and all entities in the Jonsson Workwear company, their directors, employees and agents, inclusive of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any indemnified party.
  5. Jonsson Workwear reserves the right to cancel or amend any competition or the rules pertaining to without notice or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Jonsson Workwear’s reasonable control. Any changes to this specific competition will be posted on the Jonsson Workwear Facebook page and the Jonsson Journey website (www.jonssonjourney.com).
  6. In the event of ANY dispute regarding the competition, the decision of Jonsson Workwear shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
  7. This promotional competition opens at 12PM – 1 August 2014 and closes 12PM – 31 October 2014.
  8. The Competition Prizes:
    1. Main prize: R20000(incl. VAT) worth of Jonsson Workwear at retail value.
    2. Weekly hamper giveaways: Each week a weekly hamper to the value of R500(incl. VAT) will be given to a chosen entrant. The garments in the hamper will be at the discretion of Jonsson Workwear.
  9. Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other prizes.
  10. The prize must be redeemed in one bulk order through Jonsson Workwear.
  11. In order to qualify for this promotional competition, the entrant must:
    1. Provide correct and full personal details, as required;
    2. Be 13 years old or older;
    3. Be an individual and cannot be a juristic entity and;
    4. Be a wearer of the Jonsson Workwear brand.
  12. The competition is open to all entrants who qualify in accordance with clause 11 above, exclusive of any directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants, the suppliers of goods or services in connection with this promotional competition, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Jonsson Workwear Pty Ltd and their respective spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not permitted to participate in this promotional competition.
  13. Competition Details:
    1. Entrants will be required to enter via www.jonssonjourney.com. Each entrant will supply their full name, email address, mobile number and upload a photo of themselves.
    2. Entrants must be content with their story and photo being shared on the Jonsson Workwear Facebook page or The Jonsson Journey website. Once the entrant submits their story, they agree that Jonsson Workwear owns the rights to use their name, images and wording in any way which is not abusive or hurtful to the entrant.
    3. Entries will be stored in the local database.
    4. Entries for the first phase will close at 12PM on 31 October 2014.
    5. The winner will be announced by the 30th November 2014.
  14. Weekly hamper winners will be contacted via email or telephonically starting on 8 August 2014 by a representative of Jonsson Workwear. This date is subject to change without notice. Jonsson Workwear reserves the right to disqualify a winner if he/she does not respond to the email or telephone call within one week of winner selection in which case a replacement winner will be selected from the competition entries.
  15. The competition final winner will be contacted via email or telephonically on Tuesday, 30th November 2014 by a representative of Jonsson Workwear. This date is subject to change without notice. Jonsson Workwear reserves the right to disqualify a winner if he/she does not respond to the email or telephone call within one week of winner selection in which case a replacement winner will be selected from the competition entries.
  16. Jonsson Workwear Pty Ltd reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions as well as terminate the competition at any time. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Jonsson Workwear, their suppliers, customers and reps.
