Harnas Wildlife Foundation, Namibia

Namibia | 27 June

Last week I spent a few days at the Harnas Wildlife Sanctuary, an entity established originally for the protection of animals but now includes welfare projects for nature conservation and education. It is an absolutely incredible place to experience and one of my favourite places visited on the Journey so far.

Tertius Visser introduced me to the friendly wild animals around the sanctuary which were previously rescued and are now being rehabilitated and released back into the wild.  His passion for wild animals is empowering and shines through in the photographs I captured of him.
